At Before all Else, we focus on providing hypnotherapy services specifically designed for parents. Our unique parenting therapy offering helps parents overcome challenges and become the best version of themselves. Our goal is to help parents feel comfortable and confident in their parenting abilities. We believe that each parent is unique and deserves a personalized approach to therapy. 

 

I'm Sarah Major, the founder of Before all Else, Mummy of two, wife, friend, pet owner, and hypnotherapist.  As is so often the case, my personal parenting journey is the reason Before all Else came into being. When my second child was born I struggled more than I ever thought I would. All I’d ever really wanted was to have children and my Maternity Leave year with my first was an absolute dream, but then Covid hit, I fell pregnant, I became a parent to a toddler (& not just a delightful and in hindsight, ‘easy’ baby), and then I became a parent of two. I found it hard, the new baby suffered terribly with ‘colic’ for months on end and I barely slept. I was not the person and certainly not the parent I wanted to be.

Talking to my friends about their unique parenting experiences showed me that so many other parents were struggling emotionally, with their own challenges. Whether they be birth traumas, phobias of sickness that made it impossible to cope with family illnesses, or anxieties that were taking the joy out of daily activities.

And so, I wanted to help, I wanted to find a solution that parents could bring into their own time, their own home, that would truly help them through these seasons in their lives and Before all Else was born.
